What are the sensors in the Capture+ phone?

The Billion Capture+ smartphone has the following sensors:
  • Fingerprint sensor (rear)
  • Proximity sensor (near the earpiece, to turn off the screen when the phone is held to the ear on a call, and turn it on when moved away from the ear)
  • Ambient light sensor (near the earpiece, to automatically change the display brightness based on the ambient light)
  • Gyroscope
  • Accelerometer
The following sensors are not supported:
  • Near-field communication (NFC)
  • Wireless charging
  • Iris sensor
  • Infra-red sensor

The camera application seems to crash after 60s

After 60s of inactivity, the camera app shuts down to conserve power. You may restart it again with no loss in functionality

Does Billion Capture+ support VoLTE?

Yes, it supports all 4G and VoLTE services, including Reliance Jio and Airtel.

What are the in-box contents?

The handset, USB type C data and charging cable, 18W QuickCharge 2.0 adapter, SIM ejector PIN, screen-guard (attached to the screen) and a quick start guide.

Where is the warranty card? How do I claim warranty?

There is no warranty card in the box as it is not required to claim warranty. Simply call our call center at xxxxxx or write to and they will direct you. Or walk in to our wide service provider network - the list of all service centers is available on our website

What is covered / not covered in the warranty?

Warranty covers all manufacturing defects on the phone for a period of one year, and any accessories for a period of six months.

Normal wear and tear including but not limited to scratches on either the body or the screen, screen damage or breakage, accidental or liquid damage, damage due to extreme forces or incompatible accessory usage is not covered under the warranty.

No software, data loss and consequential damages of any kind are covered in the warranty.

What OS does the Capture+ run on?

Capture+ at launch comes with stock Google Android Nougat 7.1.2 with security update of August 2017. An upgrade to Android Oreo will be guaranteed in the Q1 of 2018.

Will there be software updates?

Capture+ will receive security updates every quarter and a guaranteed update to Android Oreo in Q1 of 2018. To manually check for updates, please go to Settings -> About Phone -> Software update. The phone is set to automatically check for updates, but it will ask for permission to download and install these updates to conserve data usage

What kind of SIM card slots are in the phone?

Both the SIM card slots are nano SIM sized. The phone and its software supports dual standby and both SIMs can use the 4G / VoLTE capability
